Founded in December 2018 as a spin-off company of Eindhoven University of Technology, Helia is built on a solid foundation of scientific research, engineering innovation, and a commitment to real-world impact.

At Helia Biomonitoring, we believe that real-time biochemical data hold the key to solving many of today’s pressing challenges in industrial biomanufacturing, healthcare, and environmental sustainability. Our vision is to enable smarter decisions through continuous, real-time biochemical insights to improve life on our planet.​
We are on a mission to develop and deliver Process Analytical Technologies and services that solve complex measurement and control challenges, especially where biomolecules are present at low concentrations and are fluctuating on rapid timescales. We are starting in high-need sectors where the impact is immediate. We deploy systems in the food industry to boost yield and productivity, cut costs, and minimize waste. Looking ahead, our goal is to become a global leader in atline and online biochemical monitoring instruments, focusing on high-impact markets where our technologies can make significant differences.
